A good place for the Seniors to live in old age

I had a long conversation with one of my former colleagues recently about options available to Senior Citizens in Delhi to have a good living condition who are single, reaching their seventies, who are not in very good health and feel it unsafe to continue to live all by themselves only with the support of helping hands in a large house. She is allergic to the expression 'Old Age Home' and for that reason I have chosen the title differently. We concluded our discussion saying that in Delhi…See More

Time To Give back

The sixty year barrier gives a person all kinds of feelings once he reaches the threshold. In all conventional sense, it has to be a new beginning in one's life. The worries and anxieties of a forty year and fifty year old has been left behind and most of the people who would be able to sit on their laptops and indulge in the musings of the sixties could be reasonably considered belonging to the middle class and made provisions for the rainy days. Most of them are pensioners or earning a… Continue

Life's Lessons

There is so much accumulated wisdom with the Senior's which should not be allowed to wither away and passed on to the future generations or whoever cares to share these experiences. I am starting this Blog and inviting all the Senior's to come here and participate. The entries should be short. One or two liners at the most. As for example:

" Put your children in the best School in town."

" Patronize your neighborhood shops"

" Choose your life partner very… Continue

He plans this as a place for senior citizens, who often find themselves suddenly useless after retiring from successful careers, to come and network and find useful activities to plan and do. So inspite of my hectic schedule at my consulting… Continue
